Job Overview

The Out of School Time (OST) initiative is currently in search of Group Supervisors to aid in facilitating activities that foster children's growth and academic abilities.

Position Summary:

  • Oversee and execute projects and programs that fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Work in partnership with the Site Director on learning initiatives based on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the application of curriculum that adheres to PA Common Core Standards.
  • Establish collaborations with public and private organizations.
  • Engage with school staff and parents regarding students' requirements.
  • Provide support and supervision for youth activities within the program.
  • Contribute to the development of enrichment opportunities for students.
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as necessary.
  • Facilitate a Community Advisory Board.
  • Oversee employee work schedules.
  • Promote program activities within the educational setting.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Education.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Background in teaching and classroom management.
  • Understanding of Child Educational Development.
  • Experience working with underserved communities.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

Monday to Friday; 12 pm to 6 pm (30 hours per week), with regular summer hours and occasional weekend commitments.

Compensation starts at $19.50 to $20.54 per hour, accompanied by benefits such as transportation subsidies, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and additional perks.
