**About La La Land Kind Cafe**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at La La Land Kind Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of baristas and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply of high-quality ingredients and products.
  • Collaboration: Cooperate with the General Manager and assist with project planning, staff management, and other tasks as needed.
  • Staff Development: Nurture positive working relationships with staff, delegate daily tasks, and address any issues in a timely fashion.
  • Quality Control: Supervise staff and control merchandise, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Leadership by Example: Set a good example for staff, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to address any challenges that may arise.
  • Coaching and Development: Identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary, ensuring staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee shop setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Financial Acumen: Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Passion: Passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
