Physiotherapist for Special Needs Students

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at AnthroMed Education in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time opportunity to support one of our partner schools and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse physical and cognitive needs.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional chance to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care for students. As a Physiotherapist with AnthroMed, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct services and interventions to students.
You will also play a key role in monitoring student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed, and maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions. In addition, you will assist with positioning and accessibility related to assistive technology.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' needs and create tailored therapy plans.
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services and interventions to students, promoting optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care for students.
- Regularly review and adjust therapy plans to meet evolving student needs.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Provide expert guidance on positioning and accessibility related to assistive technology.
- Clinical Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington, D.C.
- Experience working with children with special needs is highly valued.
- Background working in the educational setting is beneficial.
