Job DescriptionThis pre-operative nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing eye surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient monitoring and emergency equipment, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- The successful candidate will possess a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and at least one year of experience in a similar setting, such as an ambulatory surgical center or PACU.
- A BSN degree and ACLS certification are preferred.

This role requires working in well-lit and ventilated surroundings, including pre-operative/PACU areas, nurse's stations, procedure rooms, lounge, etc. Occasional exposure to outside environments may occur.
