Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacy Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing customer-focused pharmaceutical care and overseeing the efficient dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with providers to influence optimal drug therapy in accordance with approved protocols and current practice.
  • Review, compound, prepare, and oversee the compounding, preparation, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Monitor patients' drug therapy and provide drug information to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Oversee and direct pharmacy staff in the execution of technical functions.
  • Use a computerized data system to record prescriptions, check for drug interactions, verify all drugs are labeled properly, and ensure that only a pharmacist or authorized personnel dispense medications.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy License from Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
