Asset Management Analyst

Role Summary:
The Asset Management Analyst is instrumental in evaluating, reviewing, and reporting on properties on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for Asset Management. This role encompasses the preparation of models, proformas, and reports aimed at maximizing portfolio value and delivering comprehensive reporting packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ANALYSIS
    • Prepare and review updates to financial models and proformas, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness through effective collaboration with Asset Managers.
    • Summarize analytical findings, emphasizing critical areas of concern for Asset Managers.
    • Examine operational data for precision and conduct trend analyses.
  • DATA EXTRACTION
    • Extract data from the accounting system and facilitate communication between Asset Management and Fund Accounting to ensure data integrity.
    • Gather industry, market, and forecast data.
  • REPORTING
    • Generate reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual evaluations, investigating any discrepancies.
    • Maintain reporting workbooks and provide necessary documentation for stakeholders.
  • PROCESS ENHANCEMENT
    • Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes and propose strategies to increase revenue or reduce costs across the portfolio.
  • SUPPORT
    • Assist with sale and refinancing analyses and contribute to partnership responsibilities.
  • BUSINESS PLANNING
    • Develop, maintain, and contribute to business plan proformas.
  • VALUATION
    • Participate in valuation processes and provide detailed insights during the valuation period.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's Degree in Finance, Business, or Real Estate is advantageous.
  • CPA or CFA certification is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial review, reporting, and modeling of residential properties.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Self-driven with excellent time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
