POSITION OVERVIEW
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our cannabis dispensary. As a leader, you will ensure that our store runs smoothly while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee effective inventory management and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Ensure all products are accurately labeled, processed, and tracked in compliance with state regulations.
- Facilitate customer orders by efficiently delivering products to the sales floor and preparing items for home delivery.
- Allocate products effectively based on customer and patient needs.
- Collaborate with the production facility to coordinate product shipments to the store.
- Conduct regular product audits to maintain compliance with state laws.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of Assistant Operations Managers and Specialists.
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and create actionable plans.
- Experience in retail environments that involve advance ordering and customer delivery.
- Background in operations, retail, or the cannabis industry.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform computer-related tasks.
- Willingness to adapt to a varying schedule based on operational needs.
- Ability to manage stress while performing multiple tasks.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Hands-on approach to work; both strategy and execution are essential.
- Adaptable to the fast-paced and evolving nature of the industry.
- Collaborative mindset; teamwork is key to our success.
- Creative problem-solving skills; traditional solutions may not always apply.
