Job Responsibilities

The Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technician is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
  • Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications

You will need to hold:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.
  • Diagnostic Radiography License.
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Working Conditions

This role requires:

  • Lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Pushing and pulling a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Standing a minimum of 6 hours a day.
