Production Manager

Gateway Recruiting, INC. is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of production in their area of responsibility. This includes ensuring a safe workplace, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting productivity and delivery metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
- Supervise production associates to achieve objectives related to quality, cost, time, and manufacturing flow.
- Review daily schedules and production capabilities to ensure all requirements are met.
- Monitor production quality and equipment maintenance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, encouraging employee involvement and open communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve safety incidents, production defects, and other operational issues.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of operational excellence and Lean Principles.
- Experience leading hourly associate teams of 10 to 40.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical demands include occasional lifting of objects less than 25 pounds and frequent walking/standing.
