Production Supervisor

City Brewing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safety procedures are followed and adherence to Company policies.
- Conduct front-line quality control checks to meet Company quality standards.
- Assist with process mapping and change management.
- Set clear expectations and goals for team members, provide training and support, and measure performance against objectives.
- Recommend measures to maintain safe operations, improve production methods, and increase efficiency and quality.
- Study production schedules to plan production and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Compose weekly staffing schedules to ensure efficient operations and minimal overtime.
- Participate in the selection and usage of resources required for effective operations.
- Confer with management and other departments to coordinate activities and ensure a safe environment, quality product, and efficient operations.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
- Initiate personnel actions, such as performance evaluations and disciplinary measures.
- Facilitate daily debriefs with the packaging staff.
- Check and approve hours worked of hourly employees on the lines.
- Assist in internal auditing, such as GMP, HACCP, and Safety.
- Ensure compliance with internal, federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BA/BS in Business, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong background in people skills and hands-on front-line supervisory experience, preferably in packaging.
- Experience in a high-speed packaging environment preferred.
- Ability to work any and all shifts, including weekends, as needed.
