About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to support our diagnostic imaging services at St. David's Surgical Hospital. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment
- Operate radiography equipment and imaging accessories to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Apply knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings
- Document relevant patient information and communicate effectively with physicians to ensure seamless care coordination
- Adhere to hospital guidelines for radiation protection and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in call rotation and assist with other department-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
