Job Summary

At HSS, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Licensed Practical Nurse on our Orthopedic Unit, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with contracts and negotiations with managed care companies
  • Coordinate physician enrollment in managed care plans
  • Ensure compliance with negotiated contracts
  • Resolve payment issues with insurance payors
  • Act as a liaison between physician offices and insurance payors
  • Schedule and coordinate PHO-related meetings

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
  • License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York or New Jersey
  • BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual
  • Experience in orthopedic or rheumatology care
