At Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for completing customer and compliance orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deactivate gas service
  • Conduct regular meter inspections and maintenance of above and below ground gas systems
  • Complete assigned tasks using pipeline locating equipment and appropriate hand tools
  • Install Encoder Receiver Transmitters (ERT) and perform collection duties as assigned
  • Identify abnormal operating conditions, take appropriate actions, and perform miscellaneous inspections as required
  • Capture work order documentation on the company-provided technology accurately
Requirements:
  • High School grad / GED
  • Valid driver's license (NON CDL)
