Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to patients in post-acute care facilities
  • Create care plans in collaboration with medical staff and residents
  • Deliver treatments and administer medications to residents
  • Review care options and outcomes with physicians and other staff
  • Educate residents and family members about care options
  • Set up and monitor medical equipment as needed
  • Ensure staff compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
  • Draw fluids for lab analysis
  • Train and supervise nurses and support staff
  • Document medical interventions and histories accurately
  • Assist with incident investigations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Completion of an approved nursing program
  • At least 4 months' experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
