Job Summary:

Sonova is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hearing Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Quality Patient Care: Work closely with clinical staff to ensure patients receive quality care and service.
  • Support Healthcare Professionals: Partner with healthcare professionals to provide support to referring physicians and patients.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, verify insurance benefits, and assist with support needs within the clinic.
  • Collect Patient Information: Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes.
  • Process Repairs: Process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional.
  • Prepare Bank Deposits: Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance.
  • General Sales Knowledge: Possess general sales knowledge for accessories and patient support.
  • Process Patient Orders: Process patient orders, receive all orders, and verify pick-up.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain equipment and instruments.
  • Submit Equipment Requests: Submit equipment and facility requests.
  • General Office Duties: Perform general office duties, including cleaning.
  • Manage Inventory: Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed.
  • Assist with Event Planning: Assist with event planning and logistics for at least one community outreach event per month.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
  • Industry/Product Knowledge: Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus.
  • Skills/Abilities: Professional verbal and written communication, strong relationship building skills, experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, and EMR/EHR experience a plus.
  • Work Experience: 2+ years in a healthcare environment preferred; previous customer service experience required.
