Required Qualifications:

  • An associate degree is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Business is preferred
  • Background in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer service
  • Proficiency in SAP along with strong analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with transportation processes is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage exceptions related to import and export freight and customs payment charges
  • Oversee ocean and dray vendor accounts, resolving disputes and exceptions in line with contractual obligations
  • Perform root cause analysis for disputed or rejected items, implementing process enhancements to expedite payments
  • Provide insights into vendor billing performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize freight conditions on purchase orders
  • Act as a liaison between the Import and Export team, procurement, vendors, and accounts payable to address issues
  • Reconcile accounts and manage vendor communication regarding Statements of Account (SOAs)


Compensation Details: $23.00 to $26.47 per hour
