Job Title: Senior Building Systems Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building operations and maintenance, with a focus on plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor building system operations and performance using skills such as plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling on equipment such as air handlers, chillers, pumps, valves, etc.
  • Organize and perform preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Manage energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems efficiently to keep operating costs at a minimum.
  • Maintain the building lighting system and oversee controls.

Requirements:

  • MA Refrigeration license required (TBD if they'd be okay with other trades license)
  • Emphasis on chiller maintenance
  • 7 years of building engineer and/or HVAC experience required
  • Knowledge of building management systems and controls (Siemens, Johnson Controls are great)
  • Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and working off work orders

Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Work Environment: Collection of 11 commercial buildings in Kendall Square, all part of Boston Properties.
