Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing food service support to students and staff in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items for students and staff, following established recipes and food safety guidelines.
  • Serving and Cleaning: Serve food to students and staff, and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage food and supply inventory, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other food service staff to ensure that the kitchen is running smoothly and that food is prepared and served efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous food service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work well under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally, stand for up to 7.5 hours, and perform other physical demands of the job.
