Food Service Technician

Job SummaryAs a Food Service Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, and cleaning up food for our patients and staff. This will include handling food throughout the cooking, serving, and cleaning process, sanitizing and maintaining work areas and equipment, and operating cash registers for customer transactions. You will also be responsible for documenting processes and procedures as necessary, performing inventory and ordering of supplies, and assisting with other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a service industry, preferably in a hospital setting, is highly desirable.
- You should be able to read and recognize written words and numbers, and have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
