Complex Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Complex Claims Specialist to join our team at CNA. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing commercial claims with moderate to high complexity and exposure.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and resolve claims according to company protocols, quality and customer service standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and effectively with insureds, claimants and business partners.
- Verify coverage and establish timely and adequate reserves by reviewing and interpreting policy language.
- Conduct focused investigation to determine compensability, liability and covered damages.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external work partners, suppliers and experts.
- Authorize and ensure claim disbursements within authority limit.
- Contribute to expense management by timely and accurately resolving claims.
- Identify and address subrogation/salvage opportunities or potential fraud occurrences.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically a minimum four years of relevant experience, preferably in claim handling.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
