Logistics Position at Jacobs

Jacobs is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to support their federal customer in Severn, Maryland. As part of the highly technical team, you will play a key role in staying up-to-date with RF advancements and addressing security threats and global military needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and materials
  • Maintain accurate property accounting records for GFE items
  • Coordinate marking with Government property accounting personnel
  • Perform various tasks related to engineering and logistics fields
  • Research and source identification for replacement parts
  • Procure parts, maintain requisition information, and establish delivery schedules
  • Classify, route, and expedite inbound and outbound shipments
  • Manage reporting of Government property on contract
  • Handle transportation of special items and manage shipping damage claims
  • Possibly obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance; may need to undergo polygraph
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in ordering, receiving, and inventorying parts
  • Experience in packing and shipping electronic equipment
  • Experience with material control procedures on Government contracts
