Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee various masonry construction projects concurrently, including planning, budgeting, resource management, and coordination with subcontractors. As a Masonry Estimator, you will ensure that each project is executed with precision and effectiveness.
- Engage with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to grasp project specifications, formulate project strategies, and set timelines and deliverables. The Masonry Estimator will play a crucial role in sustaining transparent and effective communication.
- Perform site evaluations and inspections to monitor project advancement, pinpoint potential challenges or risks, and guarantee adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks. The Masonry Estimator will ensure that all projects uphold the highest standards.
- Maintain regular communication with project team members, offering direction, support, and advice to ensure project goals are achieved within the established timeframe and budget. The Masonry Estimator will serve as the main contact for project updates and progress.
- Prepare and scrutinize project documentation, including contracts, proposals, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring that all documentation is precise, comprehensive, and current. The Masonry Estimator will be accountable for keeping detailed and organized records.
- Track project budgets and expenditures, monitoring costs to ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints and forecasts.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 3 years of project management experience, specifically in masonry construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of masonry materials, techniques, best practices, and applicable building codes and regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to meet project objectives.
- Strong communication abilities, capable of effectively interacting with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, along with the Microsoft Office suite.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are advantageous.
