Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and Supervision:
    • Lead and develop a team of payroll professionals to ensure seamless execution of payroll processes.
    • Collaborate with the Vice President of Finance to set strategic direction for payroll and drive business growth.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and requirements.
  • Payroll Advisory Services:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll policies, procedures, and related projects.
    • Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Payroll Processing and Analysis:
    • Oversee the preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including month-end close, reporting, and budgeting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional accreditation preferred.
  • 5 years of related experience in a supervisory or managerial role, with a focus on payroll management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll practices, procedures, regulations, and requirements.
  • Experience processing payroll for multi-state companies and Canada.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Ceridian Dayforce or a related HCM system.
