New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

The New Grad RN Residency Program is a comprehensive internship program designed for new graduates with less than six months of experience. This paid program provides hands-on acute care nursing experience over a period of 10-16 months.
Key Benefits:

This residency program equips new graduates with the necessary tools to succeed in today's hospital environment. Through a formalized series of learning experiences, participants will gain the skills and confidence to excel in their roles.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow and work with a trained mentor in the Registered Nurse role
- Attend regular meetings with the resident, trainer, and/or Director
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s)
- Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response
- Provide exceptional patient care by responding promptly to requests and anticipating needs
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
- Other certifications may be required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience is necessary
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Some travel may be required for training
