About the ProgramOur Nurse Residency Program is a year-long program designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a registered nurse in our emergency department. Through a combination of hands-on training, mentorship, and education, you'll gain the confidence and expertise to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and families.
What You'll Do- Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans
- Provide exceptional patient care and education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
