Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evaluate analog and mixed-signal circuits for various applications. Experience in the electrical and mechanical design of optical detection systems is advantageous.
- Conduct thorough circuit analysis, simulations, reliability predictions, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and dependability.
- Create comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, testing procedures, and specifications.
- Integrate electronics with optical, mechanical, and embedded software components as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Characterize and test designs using laboratory equipment and develop testing scripts using programming languages.
- Perform complex design verification tests and document root cause analyses of design failures and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless system integration.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into your designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and field service teams during production and post-production phases.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of demonstrated success in electronics design, or an MSEE/PhD with 5+ years of experience.
- Broad knowledge in electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics.
- A proactive individual who is passionate about developing and delivering innovative solutions.
- A self-starter with strong analytical skills, capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Experience in mentoring and leading a small engineering team to manage multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
