The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EPC design and drafting activities to ensure quality and adherence to standards and processes.
  • Proactively seek project manager and engineer expectations and communicate them to EPCs.
  • Use Aconex to transmit and receive documents to and from EPCs.
  • Track project progress and communicate statuses to management.
  • Review drawings and communicate redlines to project teams and EPCs.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and CADWorx.
  • Associate of Applied Science degree in Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Broad level of knowledge concerning industry codes, standards, and practices such as ASME, API, ANSI, DOT, ISA, NEC, ACCI, AISC, UBC, ASCE, NFPA, AWS, NACE, IBC, etc.
