Job Overview

Houston Plans and Permits LLC is a Residential Drafting & Design firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Jr. Home Design Project Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design custom homes and additions based on client specifications, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Initiate and conduct permitting with the local authority via company blueprints, maintaining accurate records and follow-ups.
  • Meet with clients to discuss revisions and design changes, providing clear explanations and solutions.
  • Coordinate plan reviews, re-submittals, and revisions with the local permitting authority, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Provide completed permit/plans to building personnel and customers as applicable, maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Maintain company documentation and generate correspondence regarding the design/permitting process, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Add customer information/status to the company project database, streamlining data management and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of residential design principles, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Utilize Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer programs to create high-quality designs and documents.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, providing clear instructions and feedback.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work well under pressure, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
  • No history of criminal convictions or drug use.
  • Prior outbound sales experience a significant advantage.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
