Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising and coordinating the operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department to ensure high-quality food service for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Support various areas within the Food Service Department, including tray line operations, hosting, patient meal services, kitchen tasks, and dishwashing.
  • Oversee cafeteria staff to ensure excellent customer service, maintain a sanitary environment, and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of special events as directed by the chef.
  • Monitor patient diets and ensure compliance by overseeing the production team and tray line.
  • Address service recovery and communicate any escalated issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations by monitoring staff activities.
