Job Title: Tax Professional - Franchise Location

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at our Brainerd, Minnesota franchise location. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing complete and accurate tax returns, and generating business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
  • Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
  • Provide clients with IRS support
  • Mentor and support teammates

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
  • Experience completing individual returns
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with virtual tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
