Registered Nurse III

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse III to join our team at the Cedars-Sinai Cancer Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with cancer and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with in-office procedures, clinic flow, and practice management for Psychiatry and Supportive Care Medicine.
- Set up new oral medications electronically and manage monthly prescriptions.
- Telephone triage of clinic patients with needs ranging from chemotherapy, results review, symptom management, and medication management.
- Triage Patient Advice Requests and other requests in the electronic medical record.
- Manage acute and chronic side effects after treatment.
- Coordinate care and collaborate with clinic staff and other disciplines within PFSP.
- Administer intermuscular and subcutaneous injections, and assist with clinic procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and treatment side effects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and educational opportunities.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- BSN preferred.
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of California.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or willing to obtain in one year's time from start.
- A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required.
- At least 3 years of experience in oncology nursing.
