Job Summary:

Costing Industrial Engineer for a leading contract packaging company. This role is responsible for developing cost estimates for new and existing products. To be considered, candidates should have a degree in Industrial Engineering with experience in production or assembly line operations/balancing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cost estimates for new and existing products and provide quotations for customer project requests
  • Identify costs associated with production lines and packaging of products and warehousing
  • Gather all necessary information for cost estimating and production lead times for requests
  • Apply Industrial Engineering, time study and standard data as needed for production direct cost calculations
  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as line balancing, capacities, historical performance, downtime, efficiencies, and excess costs
  • Maximizing process efficiencies analyzing line layouts, equipment set-ups, workflows, assembly methods, and work force utilization
Requirements:
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience preferably in the production, packaging, or related industry
Work Environment:
