Job Overview

The Learning Experience is seeking a qualified Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for young children.

About the Role
  • We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has prior experience in childcare or a related field.
  • You will work closely with teachers to implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality care and education to our students, while also supporting the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
  1. Classroom Leadership: Partner with teachers to create a engaging and interactive space that promotes learning and growth.
  2. Curriculum Implementation: Assist teachers in implementing our curriculum, ensuring that each child receives a tailored approach to meet their unique needs.
  3. Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of our students at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  4. Families as Partners: Communicate regularly with parents through mobile apps and in-person discussions, keeping them informed about their child's progress and milestones.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to drive enrollment, retention, and engagement goals.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in childcare or a related field is desired.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and move freely throughout the day, safely lifting objects up to 40 pounds.
Salary Information

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
