Volt is currently seeking skilled Wiring Technicians.

Position Overview:
As a Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring various intricate assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products. Your tasks will include:
  • Assembling and wiring complex components, including PLCs, Circuit Monitors, and advanced electronic devices.
  • Performing mechanical assembly tasks as required.
  • Working in confined spaces to complete wiring tasks.
  • Ensuring safety by adhering to all OSHA and site-specific standards.

This is a full-time position with a focus on evening shifts.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A solid understanding and experience in assembly and wiring techniques.
  • The ability to lift and hold assembly parts weighing up to 35 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and material lists.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or contract environment.
  • A strong motivation and self-direction with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
  • A good work record.

Shift Details:
This position is for the evening shift, operating on a 4-day schedule.

Compensation:
The pay rate is $20 per hour, with the potential for adjustments based on education, experience, location, and specific job duties.
