Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

The VMS Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and margin objectives in the region. This role requires a strong understanding of the metal components and products market, as well as excellent sales and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet/exceed Sales Revenue and Margin objectives.
  • Establishes, develops and manages new leads while promoting the company's capabilities.
  • Works with engineering and manufacturing to determine the feasibility of designing and manufacturing new and/or custom products.
  • Negotiate agreements, contract pricing and terms with customers.
  • Negotiate, communicate, document and obtain approval from internal and external stakeholders on long term supplier agreements.
New Business Development:
  • Meet New Business revenue objectives.
  • Meet Close rate metric by closing opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Prospect and research new customer targets, creating sales leads to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities through networking to create new business opportunities ultimately converting into new revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Three years technical selling experience B2B manufacturing environment.
  • Proven record of developing new customers.
  • Five years technical selling experience B2B environment.
  • Manufacturing and Engineering background or experience.
  • Proven track record of developing new customers with custom design solutions.
  • Experience in the metal forming manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
