Regional Sales Director

The VMS Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and margin objectives in the region. This role requires a strong understanding of the metal components and products market, as well as excellent sales and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet/exceed Sales Revenue and Margin objectives.
- Establishes, develops and manages new leads while promoting the company's capabilities.
- Works with engineering and manufacturing to determine the feasibility of designing and manufacturing new and/or custom products.
- Negotiate agreements, contract pricing and terms with customers.
- Negotiate, communicate, document and obtain approval from internal and external stakeholders on long term supplier agreements.
- Meet New Business revenue objectives.
- Meet Close rate metric by closing opportunities in a timely manner.
- Prospect and research new customer targets, creating sales leads to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities through networking to create new business opportunities ultimately converting into new revenue.
- Three years technical selling experience B2B manufacturing environment.
- Proven record of developing new customers.
- Five years technical selling experience B2B environment.
- Manufacturing and Engineering background or experience.
- Proven track record of developing new customers with custom design solutions.
- Experience in the metal forming manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
