Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electric Utility Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our metering field services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager of Power Delivery in managing and allocating financial and employee resources.
  • Supervise a team of metering technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for employees and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Interface with other departments within Power Delivery to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the Metering Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce debt.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; related college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in operations, power delivery, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence customers and employees.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related college degree in business, management, administration, or human resources.
  • Experience supervising union employees.
  • Metering and/or field-related experience in the electrical industry.
