Electrical Foreman Job Description

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise electrical construction projects, including planning, design, and execution.
  • Manage and coordinate electrical crews, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to complete projects efficiently.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, evaluating project risks to personnel and equipment.
  • Review and implement electrical installations according to contract drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers and purchasing managers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress, providing daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
  • Conduct and participate in project meetings, ensuring effective communication and trade coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current Utah Journeyman license.
  • Five plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
  • Ability to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
  • Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Safety training relative to electrical and general construction, such as OSHA 10 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific.
