Salary
We offer an attractive salary package with a competitive compensation range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Project Leader 3 to join our Life Safety Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple contracts valued at $500K - $3M, overseeing engineering and field staff, and ensuring project delivery meets budget and schedule requirements. Your expertise in fire alarm system applications, including IBC, NEC, and NFPA knowledge, will be essential in leading design and implementation projects for facilities and plants. Additionally, your exceptional communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams will enable you to successfully execute multiple contracts while maintaining excellent customer relations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in applications engineering, with at least 5 years in project leadership responsible for budget, schedule, and delivery. A B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management, along with relevant field experience, is also required. You should possess excellent communication skills, tact, and the ability to work directly with customers, senior management, supervisory personnel, trade partners, and design professionals. Experience working with management systems, including estimating, scheduling, and job cost reporting, is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements
Experience in operational risk management and knowledge of safety and quality control requirements are essential in this role. Proficiency in reading drawings, schematics, and interpreting statements of work (SOW) to develop cost proposals and execution plans is also required. Additionally, you should have experience with software tools, such as those used for estimating, scheduling, and job cost reporting.
