Our Technical Design Team

The Technical Design team at Dreamwear is responsible for ensuring the perfect fit of our garments. They create technical packs, schedule fittings, and work closely with factories to achieve the desired look and feel of our products.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Technical Fit Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional results, self-motivated, and eager to learn. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting garment measurements for various products, including bras, panties, tops, and bottoms in seamless, shapewear, and sleepwear.
  • Attending fittings and maintaining accurate fit notes and samples.
  • Creating technical packs with initial specifications based on sketches and/or samples from the Design Team.
  • Participating in live model fittings with the Technical Designer and independently evaluating fit and communicating solutions with factories.
  • Reviewing and approving pre-production samples in accordance with guidelines set by the Technical Designer.
  • Tracking and prioritizing sample flow.
  • Collaborating closely with design and production teams to ensure styling and requirements are met.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Technical design, with a focus on intimate apparel.
  • Degree in pattern making and Technical design is preferred.
  • Self-starter with ability to lead and function independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, strong communication skills, and necessary follow-through.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Work, Adobe Illustrator, and PhotoShop.
