Client Access Coordinator

The Salvation Army is a branch of the Christian Church, focusing on spiritual regeneration.

About This Role:
  • We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee admissions, client registration, and outpatient appointment scheduling under the supervision of our Quality Assurance Manager.
  • This position requires adherence to federal confidentiality regulations (42 C.F.R. Part 2, and HIPAA) and maintaining accurate clinical records for all Clitheroe programs.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient admissions processes, manage client information, and collect payments by clients.
  • Compile and maintain clinical records, operating an information management system and spreadsheet to track daily census.
  • Maintain accurate disclosure logs and prepare responses per C.F.R., as well as send out releases of information for court orders.
  • Attend court as needed to fulfill subpoena requests.
  • Set up and maintain master clinical records systems, complete chart requests and transfers, and assign new client numbers.
  • Check in clients for appointments, ensure proper sign-in, forms preparation, and printing; collect payments and fees for services delivered.
  • Enter minimal data set information into State of Alaska AKAIMS database.
Requirements and Salary:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Three years' experience in record keeping, filing systems, medical record systems, clerical work, and data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AKAIMS databases, Intergy, and Intergy EHR.
Compensation:$65,000 - $85,000 per year.
