POSITION OVERVIEW:

Ohio CAT is seeking to enhance our Parts department with a dedicated Parts Specialist. This role is crucial in ensuring the availability of parts that are essential for our clientele. Responsibilities include pulling and packaging parts orders, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will handle parts received through various transportation methods and prepare outgoing components for delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all associated warehouse tasks, which encompass precise counting, receiving, and dispatching of parts, as well as managing warranty items and assembling hoses. If you possess experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, or parts management, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, possess a positive demeanor, and demonstrate a strong customer service orientation. Team collaboration is essential, and proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with database systems is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a minimum of five years of relevant warehouse experience is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Responsibilities will include assisting with parts inquiries, welcoming and supporting customers, and managing documentation. Providing exceptional customer service is a priority. Basic warehouse duties such as accurate counting, receiving and shipping parts, processing warranty claims, and hose assembly are also required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and pull 50 lbs; frequent repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and fingers; normal dexterity required; frequent standing and navigating stairs; capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The work environment noise level varies from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other areas, with potential for both constant and sudden loud noises.
