Dental Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Comprehensive Community Health Centers Inc. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist dentists in providing primary care dental services to patients, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining a clean and organized operatory.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Expose and develop dental radiographs, adhering to state regulations and Dental Department directives.
- Perform delegated procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Maintain Dental Department equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal functionality and inventory control.
- Collaborate with the Dental Director and dentists to ensure accurate and timely completion of patient records and documents.
- Provide exceptional patient care, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a dental office setting, with a focus on patient care and support.
- Radiation Safety certification and Coronal Polishing certification required.
- Able to travel between clinics as needed.
- Competitive hourly rate: $20-22 per hour.
