Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists in providing primary care dental services to patients, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining a clean and organized operatory.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Expose and develop dental radiographs, adhering to state regulations and Dental Department directives.
  • Perform delegated procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain Dental Department equipment, adhering to manufacturer's instructions and Dental Department policies.
  • Ensure all Dental Department areas meet infection control, exposure control, and safety standards.
  • Monitor patient flow, assist with record-keeping, and maintain accurate inventory control.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a dental office setting, with radiation safety certification and coronal polishing certification.
  • Able to travel between clinics as required.
