  • Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress, making data-driven decisions to drive student growth and achievement.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and interventions as needed, promoting positive behavior and social skills development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other team meetings related to student support and progress, contributing to a collaborative and student-centered approach.
  • Stay current with best practices in special education, participating in professional development activities to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
  • Certification in Special Education (required for teaching students with disabilities).
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
  • Certification in Special Education.
