Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, using standardized recipes and techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of food usage and waste.
- Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes and ideas to enhance our culinary offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with food storage, rotation, and disposal, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the hotel.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, sautéing, braising, roasting, and par-cooking.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers.
