Position Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in streamlining the sales pipeline process. This position entails coordinating and overseeing the advancement of leads and opportunities through the sales funnel, ensuring seamless transitions between various sales stages while delivering exceptional customer service. The Sales Support Specialist collaborates closely with the sales team, monitors key performance indicators, and generates regular reports and insights to promote a more efficient sales operation.
Key Duties:
- Pipeline Oversight: Supervise and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring that leads and opportunities progress efficiently through each phase of the sales process.
- Lead Evaluation: Evaluate the quality and potential of incoming leads, arranging meetings for the lending team as necessary.
- Sales Process Enhancement: Continuously assess and improve the sales pipeline process, identifying obstacles, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement. Implement strategies to boost overall sales performance.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the sales team, offering guidance and support on pipeline management strategies, best practices, and tools. Encourage effective communication and collaboration among sales representatives and other departments.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and current data entry in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, including updates on lead status, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Client Relationship Support: Assist the sales team in fostering and sustaining strong customer relationships by providing timely updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues as they arise.
