Job Summary
The Healthcare Sales Representative - Patient Care Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for selling products and services of AdaptHealth LLC. This role works closely with internal support staff to focus efforts on increasing new business growth and development in the assigned region and for maximizing client satisfaction of services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills, and a strong motivation for sales. They will be able to work independently and with a team, and have a valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence.
Responsibilities- Obtaining Required Information
Obtains all required information and medical documentation to ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of supply program orders.
- Contribution to Corporate Objectives
Contributes to the achievement of corporate objectives/goals by increasing overall referrals.
- Daily Sales Calls
Conducts daily sales calls to assigned referrals, establishes new and maintains ongoing business with referral sources in the medical community promoting availability for order processing, maintenance of accounts and problem solving as needed.
- Increasing Referral Volume
Increases referral volume from assigned accounts by promotion within business lines and cross-selling among business lines through regular and ongoing solicitation/facilitation of referral orders from assigned accounts.
- Validating and Developing Territory Call Plans
Works with Sales Leadership to validate and develop territory call plans to qualify new and maintain existing accounts, with intent to grow the business.
- Partnerships with Intake and Customer Service
Partners with intake, customer service, document collection as well as other functional areas within the company to help process orders and drive sales growth.
- Communicating with Referral Sources
Communicates and explains Medicare and private insurance procedures, pricing information, and product information to referral sources.
- Promoting Products and Services
Promotes products and services to all health care professionals that they may encounter daily.
- Identifying Programs or Initiatives
Identifies programs or initiatives that potentially could increase company revenues, decrease costs and/or increase customer satisfaction.
- Communication with Leadership
Identifies and clearly communicates to leadership the needs of referral sources.
RequirementsMinimum Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree from an accredited college is preferred.
- Work-Related Experience
One (1) year work-related in health care, administrative, insurance, customer services, or management regardless of industry.
- Valid Driver's License
Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence.
Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
