About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to join our team at the American Heart Association. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event contracts, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with our policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and manage event contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with our legal department to ensure contracts are executed properly and policies are followed.
  • Request and verify Certificate of Insurance (COI) documents as needed.
  • Submit contracts for review and approval, and upload completed agreements to our system.
  • Serve as a liaison between our events team and legal department.
  • Review payment terms and assist with vendor setup in our payment portal.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of prior administrative support, database management, or project management experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to our policies and procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and vendor payments.
