Job Description

Minnifield is currently seeking a highly skilled Billing and Accounts Clerk to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, computing numerical data, and checking the accuracy of business transactions. Additionally, the clerk will perform data entry and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Financial Records: Compile and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Compute Numerical Data: Perform calculations to determine financial results, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Verify Business Transactions: Review and validate financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Data Entry and Administrative Duties: Enter financial data into computer systems, maintain accurate and detailed records, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Fundamental Knowledge: GAAP principles and practices.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when performing financial tasks.
  • Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
