Key Responsibilities- Clinical Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough clinical screenings of all Mental Health Court referrals using evidence-based substance abuse assessment tools.
- Treatment Planning and Intervention: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing motivational interviewing and client-centered approaches to support recovery and reduce recidivism.
- Case Management and Collaboration: Work closely with community providers, probation, and other criminal justice personnel to ensure seamless case management and regular contact with participants.
- Data Collection and Maintenance: Accurately collect and maintain Mental Health Court files, including participant data and progress reports.
- Testimony and Presentations: Provide weekly testimony to the court on participants' status and participate in community presentations as requested.
- Licensure: Be licensed as an LICSW, LCSW, LMHC (other licenses may be considered).
- Communication and Writing Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience and Qualifications: Have experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders, and be willing to travel within the state.
